Classroom Setup …

It’s hard to believe that another school year just began! Where has the summer gone? Is it just me, or does it seem that every summer goes by quicker than the one before? My own classroom setup started off a little shaky since I was greeted by this… class setup16 class setup17 My back counter had two holes in them right down to the concrete and wood! However, I am happy to report that the walls were taken care of and I now have 2 beautifully painted and plastered back walls just in time for the start of this school year. Here’s a little sneak peak of what my classroom looks like now… Slide1 Can you guess what my theme is this year? SPORTS!!!! Can I tell you how proud my husband is of my choice of theme this year. He especially loves the Yankee player I added to the top of my All Stars board. Isn’t he just the cutest? …and check out my kiddos sports pennants. The kids had so much fun completing their All About Me Pennant books and I just love the way the board turned out. Here’s a closer look… Slide2 … and some more classroom pics… Slide3 Slide4 Slide5 For someone who has never been much into sports, I think I’ve done a good job of representing all the sports lovers in the world. Don’t you think so?… :0) I hope you’ve enjoyed the sneak peak into my classroom.  If you have any pictures of your class I’d love to hear from you so that I could pay your blog a visit and get some wonderful ideas! Happy Teaching, final signature

I want to start by saying that your blog looks great! My name is Martin and I'm a teacher from Canada. I just started a new website called Resources4teaching where educators can buy and sell lessons and educational resources. We are new and are looking for people to join and put up their materials for sale on our website. We are having an iPad draw for the first 100 Vendors who join and upload at least 1 lesson /resource for sale on our website. There are absolutely no fees to join and you earn royalties of 70%. You can visit us at: http://www.resources4teaching.com
I also created the Resources4teaching forums where educators can discuss education. Feel free to join us and start sharing your best practices and strategies.
If you know any other teachers who might be interested in this Website, please forward this to them and if you have any questions, feel free to message me.

    Have a great day
